Dear Family,

Our upcoming Chaillot Family Reunion is still scheduled for this year; September 29, 30 and October 1 are the dates we are planning on. Anita Chaillot Broxson has graciously volunteered to host our gathering at her lovely new home in the hill country of Blanco, Texas a few hours from San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Dallas/Ft. Worth (depending upon how fast you drive).

We know this is not a convenient time for all of you and especially those of you with young children in school but it is the best time for the majority of family members.

If you could give us an idea of how many of you might attend, it will help a lot in the planning. Also, if you would like to camp on Anita's property, local campground in Blanco or will be needing motel reservations in Blanco or surrounding towns, that would be helpful to know.

Campground spaces fill up quickly and in state or county parks, are at a premium. Due to the limited space in Anita's home, I think the majority of us should look for accommodations in any of the above mentioned facilities. Anita has children and grandchildren who will be staying in her home.

It is also suggested that pets be left at home.

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible as this is promising to be an even larger group than in the past with possibly some family members who have been unable to be with us then,are planning to be with us this year.

I hope to be in our new home in Pearland, Texas near Houston by then.
